８月残り半月。

お盆の連休があるとあっという間に

８月の半分が過ぎたことで焦ります。

結構びっくりします。

あと半月で９月となるとすると、

上期が終わることに繋がります。

上期目標の進捗がどの程度まで進み、

下期にどの程度貯金ができたのか、

大変面白い数字を期待してしまいます。

面白いとは、良い・悪いの結果ではなく、

下期かつ来年度に向けた準備や取り組みを

考えて実行する事ができるからです。

私が日々考える事は能力が低い為時間が

かかるだけで答えが出ず大変ですが、

実行できる機会はとても面白いです。

考えた事を実行し成果が出て数字となる。

何度繰り返しても飽きません。

きっとギャンブルで当たった時の感覚が

忘れられず癖になるときと同様で、

上手くいったときの快感を

頭が覚えているからだと思っています。

常に会社が良くなることを考え準備することが

私の仕事だと考えております。

When there’s the Obon holiday break, it suddenly makes me realize that half of August is already gone, which makes me panic. It’s pretty surprising.

If we think that in another half month it’ll be September, that means the first half of the fiscal year is ending. It makes me curious to see how much progress has been made on the first-half targets and how much can be carried over into the second half. I end up expecting some really interesting numbers.

By ‘interesting,’ I don’t mean whether the results are good or bad, but rather that we can think about and take action on preparations and initiatives for the second half and next year.

Since I’m not very capable, what I think about daily takes a lot of time and I often can’t find an answer, which is tough—but having the opportunity to put things into action is really fun.

When you act on what you’ve thought about and it produces results in the form of numbers, I never get tired of it, no matter how many times it happens.

I think it’s similar to the feeling when you win in gambling: you can’t forget it and it becomes a habit, because your mind remembers the thrill when things go well.

I consider my job to always think about how the company can improve and to prepare for it.
