協力会社様と情報交換会

今年から仕事のやり取りをさせていただいている

運送会社様からお誘いを受けて、

運送会社様主催の食事会にお邪魔してきました。

H社長始め、管理職の方々がとても熱い気持ちを

持ちながら、会社の規模拡大を目指し今後を

考えられているのが印象的でした。

僭越ながら弊社の取組について興味を

もたれていたようで参考になればと思い

事例を出しながら話をさせていただきました。

その話の中で、今回の運送会社様の管理職様は

同業他社から転職された方々のようで、

悪い影響がでないか心配されたとの事。

ただ、こちらのH社長の考えは明確で、

『社員が辞めるような組織の会社自体に問題がある。

うちの会社を辞める社員がもちろんいるように、

辞めたいと思わせる社員を生み出した会社にこそ

問題がある。転職先の会社に文句を言う事で

自分たちは被害者だと主張したいんです。

自分の責任を転嫁しているだけなので

私たちは全く気にしない。

結果を出して差をつけたいですね』

本当にその通りだと思います。

辞める社員がいれば入社する社員もいます。

会社または社長が前向きな準備をしていれば

即座に対応が可能で、今回のH社長同様に

弊社は私も社員も常に準備しています。

何社も運送会社があれば考え方は様々です。

前向きな考え方ができる運送会社様とともに

今後も社員が楽しめる会社を作ってまいります。

I was invited to a dinner gathering hosted by a transport company

with whom we have been doing business for some time.

It was impressive to see the president and the management team

discussing the company’s future and expansion plans

with such passion and enthusiasm.

They also showed interest in our company’s initiatives;

hoping it might offer some useful insight,

I shared some examples and discussed our approach.

During the conversation, I learned that many of their managers

had joined from other companies in the same industry,

and there had been concerns about potential negative influences.

However, the president’s stance was clear:

“If an organization causes employees to quit, the problem lies with the company itself.

Just as we have employees who leave us,

the real issue belongs to the company that drove them to want to leave in the first place.

They complain about the new employer to position themselves as victims,

but they are simply shifting the blame for their own shortcomings,

so we don’t let it bother us at all.

We prefer to focus on delivering results and setting ourselves apart.”

I couldn’t agree more.

For every employee who leaves, there is another who joins.

If a company—or its president—is proactively prepared,

it can respond immediately to these changes;

much like the company I visited,

both my team and I are always ready for such situations.

There are many transport companies out there, each with its own philosophy.

I look forward to continuing to build a company where employees can truly enjoy their work,

alongside partners who share this forward-looking mindset.
