子供の応援

子供の部活動応援に行った時の話です。

毎日大好きな #部活動 に励む子供を見て

心から熱中できる事があることを羨ましく

日々の努力に感心しながら応援しています。

実績や結果が評価される社会人と異なり

子供には取組んだ経過や努力を評価します。

部員の仲間と毎日一生懸命頑張っている子供が

大会で頑張る姿を応援していると、涙が出ます。

今回の結果次第では、

#最後の応援 になるかもしれなかったため

特別な気持ちになっていました。

そんな親の想いを吹き飛ばす結果を出してくれ

さらに上の大会に進むことができました。

また応援させてくれる機会を作ってくれた子供に

心から感謝です。

This is a story from when I went to support my child’s club activities.

Seeing my child working hard every day on their beloved #club activities,

I can’t help but feel envious that they have something they can be so passionate about,
and at the same time, I’m cheering them on with admiration.

Unlike adults, whose achievements and results are evaluated,
for kids, we value the process and the effort they put in.

Watching my child giving their all every day with their teammates,
I found myself brought to tears.

Depending on this result,
it might have been the last time I could cheer for them,
so it felt like a very special moment.

They produced a result that blew away a parent’s emotions,
and were able to advance to the next tournament.

I’m truly grateful to my child for giving me another opportunity to cheer them on.
