疾風に勁草を知る

『疾風勁草』この言葉をご存知でしょうか。

かなり前になりますが、当ブログでも紹介しました。

私の座右の銘でもある『疾風勁草』

疾風に勁草を知る・・・

困難に直面したとき、人の本当の強さや信念が

明らかになることを象徴する四字熟語です。

逆境に立ち向かう意志の強さを表現されています。

疾風勁草が『後漢書』から来ている通り、

強い風が吹いたときに、初めて丈夫で強い草が

どれなのかが分かります。

置き換えると、普段の平和な時期ではなく、

困難な時期や大変な状況の中で、

本当に強い人や信じられる人、本当の仲間が

どれだけいるかがその時はっきりとわかります。

苦しい時に一緒にいてくれる人（会社）、

厳しい環境の時に助け合える人（会社）こそが

本当の仲間（協力会社）です。

ある懇親会での出来事を紹介します。

懇親会で多数の経営者様と話していた際、

弊社協力会社のオーナー経営者様が仰っていました。

『会社の調子が良くなりどんどん成長していくと

急に妬む人が出てきて驚きますが、自分の会社が

認められている確信を得られますよ。

妬みからありもしない嘘を吹聴し、会社の評判を少しでも

下げようと足を引っ張る人が必ず出てきます。

妬みが出てくると言うことは認められたと言うこと。

拡大する会社には必ず付き物です。

そんな人を気にしていたら会社は発展できません。

伸びている会社がただ羨ましいだけなんです。

下は見ず、本当の仲間とさらに上に進むべきです。

妬み邪魔する人は、全く相手にされないことで怒り、

逆に相手が大きく成長していくことを最も嫌います。

結局、成長できない相手に対応する時間など無駄です。

私は何度も経験しているから分かります(笑)

それらを何度も蹴散らしてきましたから(大笑)

ちなみに、誰が本当の仲間なのか、その時こそ判断する

良い機会になりますよ。』

拡大し続ける企業のオーナーは凄いなと感じました。

I introduced it on this blog quite some time ago. “Shippu Keisou” is also my personal motto. “In a strong wind, one knows the strong grass…” This four-character idiom symbolizes how a person’s true strength and convictions become apparent when faced with difficulties. It expresses the strength of will to face adversity. As “Shippu Keisou” comes from the “Book of Later Han,” it is only when a strong wind blows that one can truly see which grass is strong and resilient. In other words, it is not during peaceful times, but during difficult times and challenging situations, that one clearly sees how many truly strong, trustworthy, and true companions there are. Those (companies) who stand by you during difficult times, those (companies) who help each other in tough environments, are true companions (partner companies). The owner-manager of a partner company said this at a social gathering. “When a company starts doing well and grows rapidly, envious people will inevitably appear. They will spread lies and try to sabotage the company’s reputation, even just a little. Envy is a sign of recognition. It’s an inevitable part of any expanding company. If you let yourself be bothered by such people, your company won’t develop. They’re just jealous. Don’t look down; you should move forward with your true companions. Those who are envious and try to sabotage you will be hurt when they are completely ignored, and conversely, they hate it most when others grow significantly. Ultimately, it’s a waste of time to deal with people who can’t grow. I know this from experience (laughs). I’ve crushed them countless times (big laugh). By the way, that’s a good opportunity to judge who your true companions are. ” I was impressed by the owner of this continuously expanding company.
