学生時代の友人

学生時代、常に行動を共にしていた友人と

１８年ぶりに連絡を取る機会がありました。

連絡を取ることになったきっかけですが、

友人の会社名が金融機関担当者様の話から

登場したことによります。

友人の会社と弊社は地域が異なりますが

同じ担当者様ということもありました。

友人は既に福島を代表する企業の代表で、

福島県民なら誰でも知っている企業です。

そんな企業の代表で活躍されている方が

私の事を覚えているか気になりましたが

覚えてくれており、電話してきたことを

大変喜んでくれました。

学生時代はいつも一緒に学生生活を送り

数えきれないくらい思い出があります。

友人は、弊社が新規事業で取り組みだした

業界では福島県内トップ企業です。

私がそこに挑戦することを大変驚きつつも

自分で分かることがあれば何でも聞いてと

心強い言葉を頂戴しました。

新事業を進めるうえで力強すぎる後ろ盾と

２７年前に彼と出会えた事に感謝しております。

I recently had the opportunity to reconnect with a friend I was always with during my student days, after 18 years.

The reason we got back in touch was that his company name came up in a conversation with a financial institution representative.

Although my friend's company and ours are in different regions, it turned out to be the same representative.

My friend is now the representative of a leading company in Fukushima, a company known to everyone in Fukushima Prefecture.

I wondered if someone so successful as the representative of such a company would remember me, but he did, and was very happy that I called.

My friend, with whom I was always together during my student days, is the top company in Fukushima Prefecture in the industry our company has just started a new business venture in.

He was very surprised that I was taking on this challenge, but he gave me encouraging words, telling me to ask him anything I knew.

I am grateful for the incredibly strong support he provides as we move forward with our new business, and for having met him 27 years ago.
